Gold and Rhodium Plated! They're still shiny. Probably from the 1950's. I believe the Chadwick-Miller Company is still in business.

Thanks for posting these. I've looked for them everywhere! I used to purchase these back in the late 1960s. They were a useful item, and I don't know why they stopped making them. Yes, back then we wore both a bra and a slip, so we had two sets of straps. Most tops and dresses for the past few years have been knits with nothing substantial to pin to, but I've noticed blouses and shirts with buttons are coming back into style.
